Couple Met 11 Years Earlier Do You Believe In Fate
Imagine finding a picture of yourself playing on the beach, your showing your spouse this picture and low and behold your wife is actually in that picture and didn't know her at the time? Do you believe in fate? The world is kind of small don't you think? I mean the odds of this happening are HUGE! The earth must be lined up with the sun and the moon or something like that for this to happen and we still have to think about who took this picture and the odds of the timing behind it! They are only 11 feet apart from one another, pretty remarkable wouldn't you say.
Nick Wheeler and Aimee Maiden only met each other at sixth form college but before they even knew each other they were in a picture together. The pair lived hundreds of miles apart when the picture was taken in 1994 where they both spent the day building sandcastles just a few yards apart. Their two families were strangers and never spoke.
It's only when the couple got engaged last year that they decided to leaf through old holiday photographs where they found the once in a lifetime photo. Maiden almost instantly recognized herself as the 5-year-old girl in the background and it seems as though the little girl was looking straight at the camera while everyone else around her was just going about their business.
Maiden said: "The photo was taken by Nick’s grandad. Nick is sitting front right in the boat with his sister and two cousins and his family, his mum, uncle and nan are to the right and behind them. To the left and behind his cousin I’m in the blue swimsuit with my mum, dad and sister. What makes it even more significant was that, although I was brought up in Mousehole, Nick and his family didn’t even live in Cornwall at the time.He and his family were down on holiday from Kent and didn’t move down permanently to Newlyn until a year later."
The couple married on Saturday at Gulval Church in Mousehole, 20 years after the photo was taken and just a minute’s walk from the same spot.
They are heading to Florida for their honeymoon and plan to frame the treasured picture as soon as they get back.
Whether it was fate or just a mere coincidence you can't deny the romance of this story. I'm sure that as young Nick posed for that photo back in 1994 he had absolutely no idea that the love of his life was right behind him and that it would be a legendary moment in time that would be reported on news stations worldwide.
It's definitely a once in a lifetime moment and a once in a lifetime love that started from a once a lifetime picture snapped back in the once in a lifetime date of 1994. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.

Moreno Took Charge In The Whitney
Moreno never looked back and the 2014 Whitney Handicap was never in jeopardy. Eric Guillot is never at a loss for words, his southern humor makes him a comedian in the backstretch but his owner Mike Moreno knows his buddy can train a horse. Junior Alvarado forced him a little in the first turn but that's where he feels the most comfortable. With somewhat easy fractions for a grade one event there was no real threat except for It's My Lucky Day who gave a excellent effort finishing second. But this day belonged to a blue collar horse named Moreno. He has had some terrible luck in the past and doesn't get any respect, he's like the Rodney Dangerfield of horse racing. Coming down the stretch he had enough horse to get a free ticket to the Breeders Cup Classic. The favorite Palace Malace had nothing in the tank after a small move on the last turn. The older horse class is now in total shambles, the three year old crop looks to be the better of the bunch this season. You have to give credit where credit is due because Moreno was the only speed in the race, no one came after him till it was to late.
So where does Moreno go next? Does he go to the Woodward or straight to the Breeders Cup?
The Whitney Is a Prestigious Race for older horses and is a Grade One Race. Maybe the Jockey Cup Gold Cup will be a stop on the way to the Breeders Cup but one never knows what the Louisiana voodoo trainer has up his sleeve next. A likeable guy that does a great job with limited horses.
So where does Moreno go next? Does he go to the Woodward or straight to the Breeders Cup?
